Skijoring is originally from Norway, but is now popular in many countries. It's cross country skiing with the help of your dog. The equipment is minimal: cross country ski gear, skijoring waist belt, tug line, sled harness and of course - Your Dog! Any trails packed down by snowmobiles make great skijoring areas. The dogs love this adventure and it gives cross country skiing a whole new dimension. There are even regular competitive races out there for those who really want to get into it!
